Premier Bank Pledges $30K to Mom's House Inc. of Toledo
Defiance, OH (July 18, 2024) – Premier Bank has pledged $30,000 to Mom’s House Inc. of Toledo. The funds will be used towards “Rattle the Stars”, a joint capital campaign between Mom’s House Inc. of Toledo, The Pregnancy Center and several other organizations to build Mom’s House Inc. of Toledo’s second location, Laurie’s Place.The goal of Laurie’s Place is to provide a comprehensive support system under one roof, streamlining access to essential services for Toledo’s families. Local agencies like Jobs and Family Services, WIC, Mental Health Counseling, financial literacy, homeownership and much more will have office hours at the location to better eliminate barriers within the Toledo community.

This collaboration aims to eliminate barriers that single mothers face, particularly in accessing education and quality childcare,” explained Christina Rodriguez, Executive Director, Mom’s House Inc. of Toledo. “Laurie’s Place will be a symbol of hope and resilience, a place where dreams can flourish against all odds.”
