A.C.T.I.O.N., Inc. Receives Donation from Premier Bank
Youngstown, OH (April 28, 2022) – Premier Bank recently donated a check to Alliance for Congregational Transformation Influencing Our Neighborhoods (A.C.T.I.O.N., Inc.) for $5,000. The funds will be used for their Mobile Market Initiative, a 28-foot truck, which will make stops to offer fresh, locally grown groceries on wheels year-round. The Mobile Market will target the food deserts of Youngstown, as well as in Struthers and Lowellville.
“Shoppers are going to be able to purchase butter, eggs, cheeses, meats and other staples to cook along with fresh produce,” explained Vicki Vicars, Lead Organizer, A.C.T.I.O.N., Inc. “We are now working to create the routes, meeting with local vendors and contemplating the many ways we are use this opportunity to serve and uplift our residents.”
